Pre-RN Students Invited to 8th Annual Nurse of Distinction (NOD) Awards Ceremony

Two Pre-RN students received a phenomenal invitation to attend the Nurse of Distinction awards dinner. The 8^th Annual Nurse of Distinction (NOD) Awards Ceremony took place Wednesday night at the Intrepid Air & Space Museum.  Tiffany Ayisi and Raquel Sawh had the amazing opportunity to share the experience with registered nurses who invaluably contributed to the profession. In addition, a Proclamation was presented from Mayor Bloomberg designating May 18, 2011, 1199SEIU Nurse of Distinction Day.  The seniors were inspired and extremely honored to be offered the opportunity to interact with such distinguished individuals.  It will surely be a memory that they will hold for a very long time and that will motivate them in their future endeavors.
